Chat requires consent

What we store and why (after consent)

1) Partner attribution cookie

• Cookie name: saveclub_ref
• Purpose: remembers the referring partner code (if present in the link, e.g. ?ref=...) so it can be used on return visits.
• Storage duration: up to 30 days.
• When it is set: only after you click “Accept” in the consent window.

2) Chat statistics

After you accept, we may send basic chat usage events to our statistics endpoint:

• Endpoint: /wp-json/saveclub/v1/stats
• Purpose: measuring chat usage (e.g., “chat open”, “first message”) and improving performance.

The statistics payload may include:

• page path (URL path)
• referrer
• browser language
• (if available) partner code

Local storage (chat history on your device)

The Chat may store conversation history on your device so it remains visible when you return:

• localStorage: aiearnbot_chat_history_v1 (chat history)
• localStorage: aiearnbot_chat_meta_v1 (technical metadata about history)
• localStorage: aiearnbot_chat_open_logged_at_v1 (limits how often “chat open” is logged)

These items are stored in your browser. You can remove them at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site.

How to withdraw consent / delete stored data

You can withdraw consent and delete stored data by clearing cookies and site data for this domain in your browser settings:

• clearing cookies removes saveclub_ref
• clearing site data/localStorage removes chat history and the consent choice

After clearing, the consent window will be shown again on your next visit.
